Aryn Meritt is serving as our Pastor of Worship Arts. Aryn has been in ministry in various forms since 1994 when he was ordained into ministry by the Lebanon Christian Church of Lebanon, Indiana. Aryn has served as Pulpit Minister in various Christian Churches, and Churches of Christ. Lately, Aryn has been serving as a Healthcare Chaplain at St. Claire Hospital since 2013. Aryn is eager to forge ahead into this venture as Worship Arts Minister at First Church of God at Morehead.
Aryn and Franny have been married since 1995, have four children, Daniel, Amelia, Abigail, and David. Franny works with UK Women’s as a Certified Nurse Midwife. Daniel graduated from MSU in 2018 and works Security at St.Claire Hospital. Amelia graduated High School in 2021. Abby and David are still in school. The Meritt’s have been attending First Church of God since 2020.
