Pastor Jeremy is an ordained minister with the Church of God, Anderson; holds a Bachelor’s degree in Youth Ministry from Mid-America Bible College, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and a Master’s degree in Youth Ministry Leadership from Huntington University, Huntington, Indiana; has a 21 year youth ministry career, serving the First Church of God in Alliance, Ohio for 8 ½ years, and the church in Eaton, Ohio for 12 ½; and is a published author, with his first book, “B.R.M. for Youth Leaders” being released in 2014. In 2018 he became an ambassador for Ends of the Earth Cycling. 

Jeremy and his wife, Rhonda, were both born and raised in Wichita, Kansas and spent their college years in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They have two sons, Jordan (Catie) who is a youth pastor in Oklahoma; and Justin (Marissa) who works as a CPA in Colorado. They also have two grandchildren, Ollie and Adeline.

You will most likely spot the Halsteads at local high school  events as they love cheering on students; exploring the hills and hollers of Eastern Kentucky; and Jeremy pedaling his bike around Rowan County.
